After you change your password, you will be prompted set up Multi-Factor Authentication where you can authenticate with either your phone number, an alternate email, or use the Microsoft Authenticator app.

User experience for Multi-Factor Authentication

    1. When you first successfully log-in after changing your password, you will be prompted that more information is required.

    2. You will be prompted to download the Microsoft Authenticator application, you can continue by clicking Next once that is complete.
    3. In the Microsoft Authenticator app, proceed with adding your account by selecting either tapping “Work or school account” or Other as both work the same.
    4. Scan the QR code presented on your screen and proceed by clicking next
    5. You may be asked to either type in a randomized 6-digit code or input a random number that appears on your screen
    6. Clicking Next will then confirm that the set-up is complete!
