Chief Financial Officer Named Recipient of Regional Distinguished Service Award by Ohio Association of School Business Officials

Cary Furniss, WCESC Chief Financial Officer has been named the recipient of the OASBO Regional Distinguished Service Award-Southwest. Cary was selected for this award from a highly competitive pool of candidates. Cary is a recognized leader in educational accounting and financial leadership and consistently demonstrates a commitment to excellence. Over the years, several area school districts have had the privilege to have him serve in their ranks. Known for strategic vision and fiscal stewardship, Cary has successfully led initiatives that enhance financial stability, improve operational efficiency, and build trust within communities. Although he did not officially join WCESC until 2023 he has long been respected as a resource by our team and is a great asset to our organization.
